Hey everyone! Guess where I am? I am currently blogging from an airport lounge in South Korea, which makes it kind of hard because everything on the computer, except for what I type, is in Korean. So far, all the traveling has been going smoothly. The flights have actually been fun! The flight from Las Vegas to here in South Korea was wonderful for me; it was such a new and different experience. First of all, the plane is huge, and second of all, the flight attendants bring so many different things, from slippers to meals! I've definitely noticed how much harder it is to clearly communicate while traveling to a different country.
I slept for most of our longer plane ride, but when I wasn't sleeping I watched "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey," that kept me entertained, and I also took time to write down my thoughts about the start of our journey. Here in the Korean Airport, I've been able to take a shower, get something to eat, post my blog, and write an e-mail to my mother, but the most important thing that I've been able to do here is meet up with the first Cambodia trip members, and talk with them about the trip. They had so many wonderful stories to tell, and advice to give, and answers to all of our questions. I think that it is definitely a privilege that we were able to connect with them. As of right now, I am so happy to be here. Yes, after talking to trip 1 I am not overly excited about the bugs, but I don't think anyone is. I am just so happy to be here and to have this opportunity. I send my love to everyone at home, and can't wait to get started doing my part to help out once we get to Cambodia!
